Both Cuvex and Cuvex BIT devices function as hardware wallets and adhere to the same security standards. The key difference is that Cuvex BIT adds an extra layer of usability for multisig processes. Thanks to its biometric sensors, you can use your fingerprint to decrypt cryptograms and sign PSBT transactions, in addition to using a password.

Nothing serious as long as you have your cards and your password, you will always be able to recover your seed phrase using any Cuvex device or the desktop app (note: this application should only be used in case of emergency. We do not recommend its use for daily management, as although we have designed it to be highly secure it is still an application intended to run on personal computers).
It is advisable to have multiple clones of your card. In fact, it is mandatory to maintain multiple Cuvex card clones stored in different geographical locations. There is absolutely no risk in doing so: the AES 256 GCM military-grade encryption that protects the information on a Cuvex card clone guarantees this security. A supercomputer with current technology would need over 14,000 years to brute-force it.
